From Jay & Leslie: The 2017 summer reading theme is Build A Better World. We are already creating our show Plan To Laugh! Pigs build houses, kids help design improvised stories, and we engineer some cool juggling tricks. Fun at the library? Plan on it!

"Operation WildLife (OWL) has been providing rehabilitation and veterinary services to injured and orphaned wild animals in northeast Kansas for over 20 years." Come learn more about the birds and wild animals with OWL. There will be animals on site as part of the program.
According to Priscilla: Join Priscilla for a rollicking show of some of her favorite silly world folktales, stories from books and songs. Of course, a few of her ridiculous puppets come along for the ride.
The StoneLion Puppet Theatre brings their new show Reflections to the library. The program is based on the book Wonders of the Annimites: Life in the Mountains of Laos and Vietnam.
According to the StoneLion Puppet Theatre: StoneLion Puppet Theatre is a professional company dedicated to challenging the thought patterns of the young and young at heart through the art of puppetry. StoneLion has accomplished this through their full season of theater productions since 1993, their nationally touring company, and their artist-in residence and intern programs at levels from preschool-college. StoneLion uses multiple styles of puppetry including marionettes, masks, shadow, mouth and rod puppets to bring the magic of theater to life.
From Peanut Butter Hamster: PEANUT BUTTER HAMSTER’s mission is to promote fun, education, good behavior, friendship and positive life style choices, through “Music You AND Your Kids Will Love!” With their dramatized, interactive stage show and infectious music, kids of all ages will be having more fun than humans should be allowed.
According to Mad Science: This fun special event demonstrates the science of magic tricks. This 45 minute program features incredible demonstrations that help children to visualize key chemistry and physics concepts. Volunteers from the audience safely help the instructor perform eye catching experiments like sitting on a bed of nails.
